Wame Alvin Tafa is a seasoned Gaborone litigation attorney with more than nine years of legal experience and seven years of focused practice in civil and commercial litigation. Admitted to the High Court and Court of Appeal of the Republic of Botswana, he co‑founded Rammika Tafa & Jallow Attorneys at Law in August 2022 and leads the firm’s strategic courtroom advocacy and appellate work. His landmark victories include precedent‑setting amendments to Botswana’s Collective Investment Undertakings legislation, underscoring his reputation as an insurance law specialist and contract law expert.

In his role as Founding Partner, Wame navigates complex insurance law disputes on behalf of both insurers and policyholders, deftly handling coverage conflicts, claim denials, and regulatory compliance matters. His contract law negotiations encompass drafting and reviewing commercial contracts, deeds of cession, shareholder agreements, and joint‑venture documents, ensuring robust contractual frameworks for corporate clients. He also advises statutory bodies and private enterprises on corporate governance, employment regulations, and licensing requirements across Botswana’s evolving regulatory landscape.
